Once you've decided on a size, shape and style, click the "Add to Cart" button. We accept PayPal, the easiest/safest way to transfer money online that we know of. Once payment is received, You will be contacted within 24 hours(usually less) via email, with a design proof for your approval. Most of the time, this is it for the design process. But, if you'd like to make changes to the original design, the sign designer will collaborate with you, by email, with amended proofs, until we get that perfect custom crafted wood sign or plaque that you've been dreaming of. Once you approve the design, it will be sent to the wood shop where a skilled craftsman will create your one of a kind custom wood sign using various methods of hand and machine routing, carving, and engraving. Your wood sign then gets sanded, the text gets painted, and it receives a generous coating of our Premium Alkyd Oil Based Finish. After the finish is completely dry, We make a box from recycled cardboard, carefully pack it up, and send it on it's way to you from our little wood sign shop here in Central Eastern NC. You can simplify the design process by letting us know in a "note to seller" when you check out, if you want any of the text larger or smaller than the rest, or if you have a particular font in mind. Can't decide, browse our many sign samples or Address Plaques and simply let us know which one you would like yours to resemble. This works for text layout as well. Still can't decide, no problem, just give us a general idea of what you'd like the over all style of your sign to convey. Something like "Rustic", "Western", "Whimsical", "Classy", "Script", "Simple","For Kids",etc.. Many folks have trouble deciding with so many choices available. You can simply choose to leave it up to our designers. After all, that's what they do, design. They will come up with something special for you using one of our most popular fonts and a layout that works best for the text and the style or shape of the sign you have chosen. You will still receive a design proof via email for approval before your wood sign gets created. |
